Hampton Inn by Hilton Columbus I-70E/Hamilton Rd.

I am writing this review to warn pet parents who are traveling with fur babies. I came to this hotel with my two cats, to seek refuge and peace/quiet. We stayed for three nights. I indicated to the front desk on the day of check-out that I would need a late check-out, to which I was acknowledged and left for my morning of work. Upon arrival back at the hotel, I went to my room in order to collect my belongings and my cats. I made sure the two signs were always on my hotel door throughout the duration of my stay (the "pets in room" and "do not disturb" signs). To my surprise, when I opened the door, I knew immediately someone had been in my room, as items were shifted and two bags with my belongings were gone... as well as my two cats. Positive: Breakfast buffet was acceptable. Negative: There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest.TV did not have signal. There were two remotes to operate the TV. The front desk clerk had no idea how to operate the remotes or why there was no signal.

Rooms were very dirty, cheese shreds squished into sheets and the carpet, chips crumbs left on one bed, gold fish cracker in the air vent, hair all over bathroom (shower, counter, shampoo/conditioner bottles) hair in all of the sheets and pillows, stains on all the sheets as well. We decided to go buy different sheets and swap everything out. More trash found under the desks and beds. Door wasn’t sealing properly, huge gap to where we could see out into the hallway. The curtains don’t close all the way and there was a parking lot light that was constantly flashing, every minutes it would shut off and then back on. Pink mold forming around the shower head and soap bottles. Toilet wasn’t flushing properly, clogged very easily, thankfully they did get that fixed for us. Didn’t get pictures of

Very disappointing! The inside is run down and actually dirty! The worst Hampton Inn I've ever seen. Got there about 1230am, check in was friendly. Went to my room and if my daughter hadn't talked me into staying, I would have asked for a refund and left then. Dressers had cigarette burns on them(non smoking hotel). Curtains had dirt and food on them. Pillow case had a stain, chips taken out of the nightstands and dresser. Marks, food, and I'm not sure what on the walls. A portable electric heater in the hall, at least 2 rooms had their doors propped all the way open(seemed like empty rooms). Hallway was dirty, elevator looked as if it hadn't been wiped down ever. One of, if not the, worst hotel experiences ever. Room was dilapidated and dirty. Stairwells were destroyed. Sorry excuse for a gym was the size of a closet, smelled like urine, had no disinfecting wipes, towels and was just overall gross. I would not ever stay here again under any circumstances.
