Hampton Inn Bourbonnais Kankakee

Do not stay in room 130. This room is the only one on that side of the hotel on that floor. It is squished between the pool room, the workout room, and the breakfast area. The walls are thin enough that anyone enjoying any of the above amenities would be disturbing. Upon check-in and realizing this, I requested a room change from the front staff, who were kind, pleasant and able to quickly accommodate my shift. Check in and checkout were both performed through the app, and both went seamlessly (despite the room change mentioned above.) My room was clean and without major issue. The linens were clean and there were no bad smells. I had plentiful towels. The closet was neat and well-furnished. The thermostat was responsive and intuitive. I was on a solo road trip in September 2025 and spent a Thursday night at this Hampton Inn while I was on my way from my home in Michigan down to Missouri for the weekend. I love Hampton Inns, and this was a convenient location for me.||I arrived somewhat late on Thursday night (maybe around 9 or 10 p.m.). The check-in process went smoothly, and my room (#430) was modern, clean and comfortable. I didn't have time to use any of the amenities such as the indoor pool... but overall I really liked the atmosphere. I slept well and didn't have any concerns with noise.||In the morning, I grabbed breakfast at the hotel before I continued on my journey. It was decent.||All in all, I enjoyed my stay and wished I would have had more time at the hotel... but all I needed was a place to crash for

The rooms were very nice. The convenience of the location was also great. It was pet friendly. And it was a relatively new and well kept up facility with a nice swimming pool. The service, however, was as rude as I’ve encountered in a Hampton. It’s unfortunate that we can’t recommend this place to our friends. NOTE BASED ON HOTEL RESPONSE: we have stayed here under my unique name and again with reservations by members of our family who have different surnames.

I/we have been loyal Hilton customers for about 20 years. We have been Diamonds for many years as well. 10/11/25 we stayed for one night. The room was nice as is the case about 97 percent of the time. Your housekeeping folks are consistently great!!! We occasionally ask for a late check out that is typically complimentary for us. We lost a piece of jewelry and needed extra time to try and find it. I called the front desk for a later check out. Hotel was not crowded. House keeping was still 4 rooms down from us. The front desk person was unkind. and gave us 10 minutes past 11 a.m. to leave. When I carried the luggage down she reminded me that we needed to be out in 10 minutes by 11:10. She didn't have a name tag but said her name was Emily. I told her that was no way to treat any one much
