Hampton Inn Boston-Norwood

My wife and I stayed here over Thanksgiving to celebrate with family about five miles away. No complaints. The room was spacious enough and clean (maid service every other day). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious enough. The staff was accommodating at every turn. The free breakfast was OK; nothing to write home about. In essence, we got exactly what we expected, and that's a good thing.

This hotel looks tired and in need of renovations. Our room’s motorized shades did not work so the room was always dark. The floor was not well cleaned. And the hand held shower attachment did not work. The breakfast was pretty nondescript plus there was no juice for breakfast as the juice machines were frozen. Yes, it’s in a convenient location but I would advise travelers to check out other hotels.

This was the second time we stayed at this location. A few years back we stayed here and I swear we would never come back. The management was not good and the staff was rude.. It was terrible. This second chance visit was absolutely wonderful starting with the dude keeping the floors clean to the sweet staff that literally went above and beyond with everyone. The staff at the front desk to the friendly staff doing breakfast. I just can’t say enough good about this hotel. Even the hotel GM Amy was so involved with our stay, being the absolute best stay we have ever had in the area. Definitely will always book our stay here from now on. Plus this location is just 30 minutes from anything you want to do in Boston. Two thumbs up and a gold star from me. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed for a few nights during the Thanksgiving holidays. Pulling off Route 1 into the parking lot is a little tricky, but otherwise, it was nice to have a hotel within driving distance of so many towns. The front desk agent checked us in quickly after we had checked in on Hilton Honors, and we were able to get our room keys without any issue. She also gave us all of the relevant information about breakfast, fitness room hours, and other amenities. The business center was mostly a printer located in the corner of the lobby, but we never ended up using it. And the breakfast hot selections were small and usually rotated (eggs/omelets, sausage, potatoes), but we had no complaints here too. Our 2-queen room was plenty spacious, and gave us all the room we needed. The TV worked
