Hampton Inn Beaufort

Not a stellar experience at this Hampton. I travel a good bit and it started at check in. They could not attach my stay to my Hilton Honors account. Spent an hour on phone with Diamond Desk and they couldn’t attach number either. The tv in room had the HDMI cable unplugged so had to pull tv off wall to get to HDMI connection. Automatic sheers did not work. Bathroom was not clean. Toilet and shower were both not good. There was no soap in the pumps in the shower. No acknowledgement of Diamond status…no welcome or waters. Just a negative customer experience at this location.

A standard chain hotel room, as expected. However, the elevator was not working so bags had to be carried up to second floor. They did offer help for this but if I had known about the elevator, it would have been a deal breaker for me. I think the elevator has been out for a while from some of the notes they have posted.

Positive: "" Negative: There was no light on the entrance of the room. you had to walk all the way to the desk to get a light on.There was no light where you unpack your clothes. Very few channels on the tv. Bathroom Wes good except for the bathtub. Very slippery on the bottom

The accommodations were good. Clean room, lobby hallways and breakfast area especially were great. Our room faced the marsh which was a beautiful view but the windows needed a good cleaning. Location was great with plenty of shopping and restaurants to visit. We plan to stay there the next time we visit Beaufort.

So far been here in an hour and very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. Handicap room with no overhead lights and with all the lamps on it is like being in a dark cave. Takes 5 minutes to get hot water. In room coffee all decaf and none at front desk. Will not return. Lots of other choices nearby.
