Hamilton Hotel

This is a great hotel. I stayed here over the weekend and my travel was delayed because of a storm back home, the hotel was very accommodating. They helped me extend my booking without issues. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner, there is a minibar and your own fridge in the room. Within a 20 minute walk to the National Mall and well placed in the downtown area making it accessible to most attractions by foot in DC. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location and staff are excellent. However, during our stay, we experienced daily water issues. The morning after the first night, there was no hot water, and we had received no prior notification. When we reported it to the front desk, they said they were probably repairing a pipe, which required temporarily shutting off the hot water. It was frustrating to have no water for a shower, and I believe prior notification should have been given. That same evening, we received another notification stating that maintenance by the water company would stop water at 10 PM and restore it by 6 AM the next day. Unfortunately, the next morning, there was still no water until 7:30 AM. Even if this issue was outside the hotel’s control, it was still annoying

I was extremely impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay again in the future. It's gorgeous all around. Our room, which was the "women's suffrage suite" was beautiful. The woodwork, the layout, the views, the furniture, everything. The bed was plush and so comfortable. Our stay was short but look forward to visiting again.

Good location of the hotel! Walking distance to the White House and there are cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Bed is comfortable!

I reserved 3 rooms to attend a funeral nearby. There were 3 adults and 8 children, ages 1-11, staying the night. The staff was very helpful at every turn, and accommodated our needs for cribs, luggage storage, and directions promptly and willingly. The hotel restaurant served delicious food, and were patient with the children. I will definitely stay there again.
