Hale Alii Lodging

We had a good stay here. The rooms are air conditioned, comfy beds, have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The furnishings are dated but it didn’t bother us. Shower had good water pressure. Because we were at the 5th floor, my favorite part was staying out in the little balcony and enjoying the breeze. The view of the huge trees and waking up and hearing the birds every morning were so nice.

Somewhat small accommodations, but it’s a great location and has just what I need. Gym, near to food, most things walkable.

Decent military lodging, if a little on the old and rundown side. Not much in the way of amenities, but it's in a good location for those on temporary duty at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

Rooms were okay. Price is unbeatable. Room door had significant issues closing. Had to throw body weight into it several times to close it. It was off alignment. The representative during check-in was an absolute nightmare of a guy to deal with. I feel like he should have taken the day off, cause he really shouldn't have come in to work with the attitude he was giving several people checking in that day.

TDY and forced to stay on base. Understand why everyone wants to stay on the Hickam side. The rooms are basic. There is only every other day service and once a week deep cleaning. The doors aren’t sealed properly, so that’s probably why outside bugs can easily get in. The washer and dryers aren’t always operational. The elevators are archaic but work. The Wi-Fi is non-existent. Do not even try to telework. The staff is nice but they honestly don’t have much to work with!
