Haines Creek RV Village (55+)

This is such a unique park. The residents here are so friendly. It just has a very special feel about it. The park is clean and quiet. The fishing dock is very nice. You encounter lots of wildlife. The lots are kept up via the park. You're encouraged to make your lot your own. The staff are friendly and sweet. I will be sad when we leave to go back home. I highly recommend HCRV.

This was our second time to Haines Creek, once four years ago and another for February and March of 2021. We had planned to stay in Kissimmee, had booked it months ahead, sent in a deposit, called to confirm before the 900+ mile drive, but when we got their they had given away our site and had no others large enough for our unit. After spending one night in Kissimmee at another RV park, hearing noise from the streets, overhead the people coming and going to work or play we were not to upset we weren't staying but where were we going to stay? So we called Sue and George at Haines Creek and they found us a spot for our two months stay. They are the new owners and are so nice, they even dog sat our puppy one day so we could go air boat riding with our children. The park is full of nice people

It's a retirement community. Residents are all 55+. No amenities, unless you count a small laundry room as an amenity. Nearest city or town is more than 15+ minutes away, which is Leesburg. Sometimes takes the office staff a little longer to get something done that needs done, but it does get done.

Beautiful and well maintained landscaping. Clean bathrooms. Only stayed 2 nights for the Leesburg Bike Fest,but I definitely can see this as a place I'd like to visit again. There are many long term residents, who have very cute yards. This is a 55+ yr old campground, great for adults seeking peace and quiet. Electric and water hookup at sites. Picnic table provided at each site. I would recommend!
