I forgot a personal item worth $100 in the room, called later that day and the next day, they said they haven't found anything. So clearly the housekeepers are making extra money. Otherwise it's super hot, no AC, and if you open the window at night you'll hear an unpleasant noise coming from a utility building on the parking lot. A good point is the little kitchen, convenient.

Vail resorts has officially killed this place too. I've been coming to CB for 30 years, alot of those times I stayed here. Always an amazing place. A few years back Vail resorts bought CB and immediately the town conveyed the stress of the unknown, would Vail kill CB? I thought of course not. Slowly, things changed. Brings us to this trip, we were advised policy has changed, you can now longer take your board/ski's to your room. In times past the always offered a free ski valet, now you can no longer take your board to the room and they also don't do free valet anymore. You have to see a Vail resorts specialist who will gladly charge the crap out of you to store your ski's. So gone are the days of free perks, now we onto the days of Vail resorts moto, nothing for free.

Nice hotel with large rooms. The suites are really big and good for families. The service was polite and friendly, the location can't be beat, and the pool and hot tub right off the slope are a huge bonus. They have ski valet and plenty of free parking also. My only complaint is that the restaurant is has a pretty limited menu, and the drinks were overpriced. I know this almost expected from a hotel bar/restaurant, but it's a ding on an otherwise great stay nonetheless.

Good value. Comfortable. Clean. Slightly worn. Friendly service. Recommend you borrow humidifier and toaster from front desk.

Gets the job done for a reasonable price!
