Golden Sands Carolina Beach Oceanfront Tapestry by Hilton

This place is FANTASTIC! Newly remodeled in like a vintage 60s style, with floors instead of carpet in the rooms. This is great because carpets in hotel rooms always gross me out. The rooms are a generous size with your own balcony with a table and 2 chairs to enjoy the ocean view. Comfortable beds and pillows, clean bathroom and shower. Everything was spic and span. The hotel staff was AMAZING; so kind and personable, friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's right next to the boardwalk and it is right on the beach.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Golden Sands! The rooms were clean with housekeeping available on request. They were spacious with a beautiful balcony that comes with oceanfront rooms. Everyone working there was super nice and helpful, I was happily greeted every single day. If I ever end up in Carolina Beach again, this place is definitely at the top of my list of places to stay! They appear to be going through some renovations as of the time of writing this review, but that was of no detriment to us, I'm excited to see how this place transforms.

How’s this even a 3-Star hotel, owned by Hilton, and they don’t offer a complementary breakfast?? The fact this hotel is part of the Hilton collection, and they charge like a three star hotel that offers free breakfast, yet they don’t provide it just shows pure greed. Don’t let the name of the hotel fool you because they can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still Paris Hilton.

Can't beat the view! Our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel has new renovations, some still in progress, but its clean and staff was very friendly. Got a good price and had a nice little getaway!

Husband and I drove out to pick our son up from base and just needed a 1 night stay, driving 9 hours I wasn't about to get anything but an Oceanview room, this place was fantastic. Updated rooms, great location, quick beach access, friendly staff...but the view itself was worth every penny! We didn't walk down to the beach as it was cold and I'm more of a see the beach vs feel the beach but we will most definitely be back in the warmer months to bring the grandbaby!
