Golden Acres Lodge

We had an extended family Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely cabin for 2 nights. Had any where from 26 to 16 of us with plenty of room. Best times were had by the cousins (kids) in the theatre room and basement playing hide n seek. It was freezing cold outside, 17 degrees at night. We did do a hike at clifty falls which was just 10 mins away. The kitchen was designed with a large group in mind. Thank you Sarah for building this place and sharing it. We will be back !

This lodge was even more beautiful in person! It was huge but somehow still cozy, so our whole extended family could relax and cook and play games together without being on top of each other. And the location was perfect for hikes and outdoor time. I couldn't recommend it more!

Wow! Awesome! Beautiful! These words aren’t enough to describe the beauty and comfort of this cabin. I spent a Mom’s weekend here - we enjoyed the many amenities, beauty, close distances to hiking and wineries. I can’t wait to plan another trip to include the entire family and friends.

I can’t say enough about this place. If you need anything, it’s there. I think one of my favorite amenities was the dining space. There was plenty of room for us all at the table, we don’t ever find that in a rental. We used every square inch of this place. Every night we had a different tournament with the games that were already there. This place is centrally located to all the fun in Hocking Hills, but also isolated and quiet. Sarah and Chad were wonderful hosts and can’t wait to use them again!!!

We had a family reunion here and had an amazing stay! Everything we needed and then some...plenty for the family to do...well stocked kitchen...game room and the movie theater room was perfect! Evenings by the campfire were just amazing.
