Gold Vault Inn

Came with my bestie, a recent cancer survivor, for my granddaughter 10th birthday. My son is a career Army man. Gold vault Inn has been a wonderful choice for us. The staff especially has gone above and beyond to insure our comfort. We needed a chair brought to our room so bestie can sleep fairly upright. We needed a bit of real milk for her coffee and they gladly gave us a small cup. Our room was very clean and all the carpets throughout have been replaced. They've obviously been renovating and updating the whole place and it's lovely. Interacted with 4 staff people so far and they were all very nice and accommodating. I can't even call it a complaint, that the pool wasn't open yet because there are obvious signs of renovation going on in there. No signs of bugs, drugs or any other negat

Making sure everyone is prepared - they will charge you $265 for smoking in the room and falsify “evidence” to justify the charge. Before checking out, I recommend to ask a staff member to review the room with you and sign something stating you didn’t smoke, or be prepared to ripped off.

Never going here again, been going here since my child hood , we booked two rooms both were nasty, pubic hair on the toilets , sheets n blankets looked like they hadn't been washed had hair in our beds. The bathtub was broke as was the sink they switch both rooms to two other rooms which one had poop inside of the toilet that was growing mold , and the other room the bath tub stopper was broke off along with the air conditioning and heat not working . Asked the front desk lady for a refund even if it was partial she said they could switch the rooms but my children were already asleep , she got very rude and disrespectful after telling her I knew it wasn't her fault . She was rolling her eyes and bobbing her head. Very rude toned telling me we are the only ones complaining. Spoke to the gm

Response to response: I did reach out prior to submitting my review. They refused refund citing evidence. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and never once was accused of smoking until new ownership. I won’t be back. I was never sent a bill or provided with their “evidence” and it’s taken over a month to get any answers. I don’t smoke. They either charged the wrong room or they’re lying. Either way, their lack of accountability is astounding. Making sure everyone is prepared - they will charge you $265 for smoking in the room and falsify “evidence” to justify the charge. If I could give it zero stars I absolutely would. I came into town a little after 3am, stopped in with my son to get a room; they had very few cars there, we went in and the woman who works there was sitting in the breakfast area. When we came in she was very rude. When she talked to us, I told her I would like to get a room for several days, she quite angry told us that we could not get a room until after 3 pm because it is after 3 am. She was very rude and unprofessional, it was the worst interaction with a hotel employee I have ever had. I will never go back and the only recommendation I can give is to stay far away.
