Candlewood Suites Radcliff - Fort Knox by IHG

Had a wonderful stay due to the staff! Brenda was especially wonderful and went out of her way to help me out! We saw her multiple times and she always made sure to check in and asked if we needed any assistance. Wendy the manager on duty was also wonderful! Thank you to your staff for being exceptional

They don’t clean rooms during your stay. I was here for 5 days. The trash cans by the elevators were overflowing for 3 days. My room has a strong cat pee smell in the closet. Can’t put clothes in there. The carpet in the lobby had mud on it for several days and no one swept. There were black hairs stuck to the shower walls. One thing a hotel must be is clean!!! The room and amenities are fine, just clean!!!

If you've stayed at a few hotels, you get it. Bathroom, closet, bed, tv... maybe a desk, maybe a chair. You're probably going to spend most of your time in the room sleeping. In that sense, most hotels are the same. Let me tell you what makes this place different - the staff! I traveled with a large group for a work event. There were more than 25 of us who decended on this place all at once, and the staff here was awesome! Check-in was fast, despite the huge gaggle of loud people in the lobby. The folks at the desk were friendly, they were laughing and joking with all of us, they were super quick, and they genuinely looked each person in the eye and spoke to them as important individuals. We stayed for just over a week, and every morning I got a cheerful "Good morning!" as I shuff

Google tells me that this is a two star hotel sandwiched between the three star Hampton and HI Express, but the honest truth is that I have spent hundreds more dollars a night for rooms that I have felt less at home in. It’s not fancy nor does it have daily housekeeping, but what it does have are full kitchens, dish ware, and a laundry room. While the amount of trouble that having those amenities on hand has saved me is considerable, where this place truly shines is in their customer service. I can tell you without a doubt that this small hotel is punching far above its weight and will be my go-to lodging any time I need to visit the area.

Not in a good area. People walking around the lot looking like they’re dealing drugs. Rooms had a mildew/musty smell. Front desk was rude. This shows as a 2 star hotel.. I wouldn’t give them a single star. Never again. As a whole Candlewoods have gone way down hill but this takes the cake. If you need a comparison think Econolodge or Rodeway Inn.
