Over 83 inches of snow has fallen this year, and it will look so green, full of flowers, creeks, and waterfalls ❤️ Better book your reservations because this will be in summer 2023 will be worth paying the high gas prices! June 20th, 21st, was totally awesome at Gold Pan Platoro. Cool nights and warm days, blue skies, and the Aspens are so green. The Conejos River is full, and anglers are working for those 16 inchers. Our Cabin #2 was so comfortable, and everything about it was so relaxing. The New Owners of Gold Pan 2023 are totally awesome, bringing new pizza recipes and preserving the original bread pudding from the past owners. Platoro Reservoir is totally full. At this time, the Jasper route is 4 wheel dive only as it has not been graded since 2022.

We visited this place on the GDMBR ‘24. It’s about 5 miles and one climb after Stunner Campground. A lot of people stop there and it makes absolutely no sense. Nick and his team do an awesome job with a little store, good food and a Divide cabin for bikers and hikers. This place is a little gem in the route and about to become a big one! 110% dog friendly, too!

I was solo hunting a couple of years ago outta Platora and ran into trouble with my vehicle. The people managing this place wouldnt lift a finger to help me out - any question I asked in regards to towing, mechanics, etc was met w/ little or no answer or recommendation. 0 help. Will never forget that- and would never recommend this place. Unreal how rude these people were.

Thank you! for the wonderful stay in a cozy well cared for cabin. Debbie and Michael go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Can't wait till our next visit. Only complaint is we had to leave wonderful Platero and come home to temps in the three digits.😥 without the best A/C.😊
