Our experience here was great! We did get caught off guard by a member of their team when we were just trying to buy Tickets for the Rudee Rocket boat ride. His name was Marcus.. and he was very kind and offered us free tickets for the boat, $30 dinner credit and a 3day/2night getaway JUST to hear them out for 90 minutes about what they had to offer and take their tour of OceanAire. Sounded good and we weren't in a hurry. He walked us over to the location and we were greeted by ALL the staff that saw us. We were offered drinks and didn't wait long at all to begin. Riana was the one to do our tour and she was very professional and pleasant. She explained everything very thoroughly and it sounded great. WARNING...Please read review first. Gold Key Resort is a billion dollar industry, and they offer timeshares. I have been stuck in a timeshare with them over several years. Go for the free drinks and gift, but no matter how great the deal sound do not take the bait. Never seen the unit, and now I'm trying to make a purchase they have a foreclosure on my credit. They never let us view the property, and we never got to vacation there. Paying maintenance fees and monthly fees. It's a SCAM, but legal in there eyes.

We are timeshare owners it is way more affordable than I thought. There staff is wonderful catering to any need we have. First time in Virginia Beach we were at a awful hotel the gold key staff got us moved to a different hotel and the rest of our trip and every trip after has been wonder for our family of 4 :)

Terrible organization. Office and business staff are very rude. My phone call ended after being transferred around five times. Beachwoods property in Kitty Hawk, NC is run down and now an absurd "special assessment" to maintain the property. Where did all my maintenance fees go through the years. Though I hated to pour more money into this pit, I received one notice for the assessment but now, because I was in the hospital and not available to open and pay my bill on time, an additional $220. is tacked onto an already ridiculous fee. I had the check made-out and in the envelope but was treated so rudely by Ryan in their business office, I have decided to hold onto that check. Beware of Gold Key Resorts.
