Gateway Hotel

A truly exceptional experience. The property was clean, quiet, and very well maintained. Every interaction with the staff was positive and professional. The room offered great comfort and attention to detail, making it easy to unwind. The entire stay felt effortless and enjoyable from beginning to end.

For what it's worth, the place functions as a place to eat and sleep. How comfortable that may be is a different issue. Upon walking into the room, you're immediately hit with the stench of stale cigarette smoke. Every wall, lamp, and peice of furniture is permeated with the smoke of what have likely been hundreds of people smoking inside. You'll have your most basic ammenities such as a few towels, toilet paper, hand soap,a fridge and microwave. The microwave didnt work and was heavily banged up, and the fridge barely got cold. The sheets have some burn holes, likely from cigarette ash. All in all you wont feel the most comfortable or clean staying at gateway hotel. Even for the price it's not really worth it, better to spend the few extra dollars to stay somewhere where you wont feel lik

The room was somewhat okay except some suspicious stains on the pillowcases. The sheets were dark colored and lights were very dim so we couldn't tell how clean they were. The corridors and staircases, however, were disgusting. They were dirty and the whole walk from the reception to the room smelled like drugs. You open the door of the room to go outside and it immediately smells like the place wasn't cleaned for months. I gave two stars only because the guy in the reception was nice and he let us switch rooms after we couldn't get the heater to work.

This Gateway hotel in DC is the most disturbing and disgusting I have ever seen. Thank God my daughter was only in the room not even 2 min and this is on the bed and its not even late at night. This hotel is infested with BED BUGS for them to be seen at 7p its a severe infestation. You pay ten thousand and up to fumigation a home. Watch video below. The front desk acted like they could not even care. This place should not even be accepting guest.

Wouldn't even give it a one star tbh, receptionist was rude as hell, dirty beds, bathroom, and room smelled like snoop doggs house on 420. Probably explains the ash like residue on the sheets now that i think about it, shady people and overall just a weird unpleasant experience. Near echostage tho so thats the only plus ill give it
