Galveston Beach Hotel

So the rooms can use some touch ups. And house keeping can do better Hair all over the floor. But over all the balcony room. Was the best. I over looked the water for 4 quite days. The price is great. And I didn't mind the airport behind us small one. So yes I will be back. But please paint the room and upgrade the bathroom.

The facilities were satisfactory. The food was acceptable. However, I was highly dissatisfied with the front desk service. I attempted an early check-in and was informed that the earliest I could check in was 3:00 PM. When I returned at approximately 3:10 PM, I was told I would need to wait an additional 20 minutes or until 4:00 PM because the room was not yet ready. As I was leaving, I observed the two front desk staff members, who appeared to be Hispanic, laughing loudly as I exited. I then waited in my car. Shortly thereafter, I noticed several other guests entering the building and being checked in. I returned to inquire again about my room, and the staff member appeared visibly upset by my return. She checked the availability of my room and, as a result, I was assigned the last room o

Hotel (almost) at the beach. Hotel is a large and busy place and could use some TLC. Good pool and hottub, no pooltowels. Bad without a bathstop, so not as such usable. Shower was good. High humidity in the room itself, maybe ac could get checked. |Breakfast was good. |Price was nice for a hotel so close to the beach.

Everything was decent. Just wish the outside shower worked to rinse off after beach before we got in pool. And I was really hoping the hot tub worked as it should. It didn’t. Not very warm and blowers did not work. I had to net out the THOUSANDS of ants myself b4 the kids or I could get in it.

Stayed for 1 night to enjoy Galveston. 1st thing I notice as I walk in to our room was a very cold room. All hotels I have stayed at the a/c is always off. So this was a plus in Texas. As usual I walk around to inspect the room as cleanliness is a top priority. I was expecting a not so clean room based off some reviews, but I will say room was very clean. Now for the cherry on top when we get home in San Antonio the following day at 11pm my daughter is unpacking & notices she left her iPad at the hotel somewhere in the sheets. I call the hotel right away, they tell me the housekeeping manager is not in to call in the morning.
