Gaido's Seaside Inn

Everything was great!! Easy friendly and fast checkin. Sweet ladies serving breakfast. Well decorated rooms with a fun beach vibe. Easy access to the beach. Loved our stay and will definitely come back. Beautiful pool for such a small property.

Great hotel (motel), especially for the price. The staff were all very friendly. Check-in was easy. They have free cruise parking and free, full breakfast. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, grits, yogurt with toppings, and a few other things. Lines were clean. Our room was a little dated and worn but it was fine.

We stayed in an upgraded king size room with an ocean view. It had a nice beach-vibe and it was updated with a retro refrigerator and microwave. Our room had plenty of storage including nightstand on each side of the bed, it had many outlets in various locations, much counter space, and it had a table with 2 chairs. The one thing it does not have which surprised me was a luggage rack, I asked for one but I was told they don’t include those, (strange, as I thought I had read it had one; I am fussy about where I leave my luggage and that was my biggest disappointment.) The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool was only for guests and they enforced that, it was very nice. You could tell they had updated the pool and they cleaned it daily. 5/5 Stars - Spectacular New Year’s Stay! ​My New Year’s stay at Gaido's Seaside Inn was even better than I imagined. If you are looking for a great spot in Galveston, I highly recommend it for a few reasons: ​The View: We stayed in an upper-level room overlooking the Gulf, and it was absolutely spectacular. Waking up to that view was the highlight of the trip. ​The Room: The rooms were very clean and well-kept. While the decor is a little dated, you can tell the property is very well-maintained by the staff. ​The Service: Speaking of staff—they were fantastic! From maintenance and housekeeping to the breakfast team, everyone was welcoming and professional. ​The Food: The breakfast here is easily the best I’ve ever had at a hotel.
