Froggy Bottoms River Suites

Froggy Bottoms River Suites was absolutely incredible for me! I arrived the day before I needed to move into one of Northfield's colleges so I had a lot of luggage— I needed extra time to stay between check-out and my actual college move-in, so they let me stay a few more hours free of charge. The room's furnishing was dated, but in a good way in my opinion. It felt very home-like, comforting, and quaint, like a little apartment from the 1980s. The walls weren't too thin, either. Also, the beds felt incredibly nice— because the sheets were so soft and satiny, I woke up without needing to comb my hair or anything. The trains at night were comforting and there were plenty of accommodations, like a coffee machine, a TV, extra blankets, etc. There are so many more positive things I can say a

first off, the atmosphere is amazing. The moment I walked down the swirl staircase and spotted the open brick, I knew it was going to be a vibe. Me and my girlfriends came here for my 40th birthday not knowing what we were walking into and let’s just say we could not wait to get back the next day. Nick, the bartender, is absolutely phenomenal. Not only did he let us play all the songs we wante, he came over several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Cannot recommended this place enough!! I would give it 15 stars if I could. don’t walk, run! you won’t be disappointed!

This place does an impressive job of cleaning! We Stayed in Dr. Visty and my sister-in-law stayed in the Riviera Suite. Both units were very clean even though they are older and not updated. Sheets and towels were great. Lots of cute frog items everywhere. I didn't try to use the Wifi, so I can't comment on that. It was very noisy the first night with the trains, but the second night we put a fan on and slept much better. My sister-in-law didn't mind the train, but said she could also hear them from the dorm when she lived on campus so she thought she might be used to them. Check-in and out was easy. Parking was fine. Felt super safe (of course). Absolutely I will stay here again when in Northfield. Oh and I should mention the views are gorgeous!!!

- [ ] First things first;and best quality about Froggy Suites in Northfield is location, location, location right downtown within walking distance to everything you want to do there. We have rented Suite 5 for an annual trip for many years. The place is spacious, comfortable and quirky with a distinctively frog theme throughout. The large kitchen is pretty well stocked with most utensils and dishes etc if you decide to cook, and Breakfast bar with 2 stools. A Small table and chairs and sleeper sofa round out the kitchen/living room over looking River St. Two suites outlook the river but we haven’t rented those but I’m pretty sure they are similarly decked out. I read the reviews and thought this would be the perfect place for family weekend. We paid a little over $200 a night for a the Lilly Pad “Suite”. Yes, it’s over the bridge from the Main Street in Northfield, but there’s an abandoned pub under in, next to it and across the street from the Eagles bar. Between midnight and 2:30am you get to hear all the drunks yelling outside. It’s not a “suite”, “charming” or “quaint”. It’s a dingy run down old apartment building. For almost, $500 for the whole stay we faced a parking lot, the DIY caulking around the tub drains and toilet were awful. It smelled of dingy old cigarette smell. The coffee in the fridge was stale and clumpy. Someone lives in #2 and their TV is blaring. I would say the mattresses date back to the 80’s with no support and
