Customer Reviews
This is the third time we have stayed here during the holidays. It is a great place for the price.| However, we are finding that the staff and owners are allowing the place to get a bit run down, which is a shame. |The French doors out to the patio were broken last year and we were surprised to find that they still have not been fixed in over a year. 😕|The kitchen area in the common space is really lacking utensils, plates, cups, etc. |They used to keep it well stocked now they don't seem to care. |Also, the front door is non-accessible with the key card. |The staff knows about it and seems to not really care. They told us to just go around and use the back door. Which could be a problem for someone with accessibility needs.|Many times sitting in the common area I had to let people in!|La
Booked this hotel through our Chase travel portal and got to stay for 4 nights. It was super clean, had a great common area, and comfortable beds. Some of the pillows did smell a bit funky tho? Otherwise, the location was great (12 min walk to Edgartown) and we visited some restaurants + coffee shops nearby that were great. They also gave us 2 free water bottles with a tote. We came right before season really started and paid around $315 a night so not terrible!
Loved my stay at the Franklin. I was in the Carriage House and the other half of my friend group stayed at the house next door. Super clean, bed was comfy and I loved the layout of the room. Big enough for 2 people and to have suitcases spread out comfortably. It felt like staying at someone’s beach home vs. a hotel — which I loved! I’m super picky about hotels and this one lived up to the hype. Conveniently close to Edgartown, spacious. Staff’s super nice and accommodating. I can’t wait to come back!
I was on the Island for the MS Ride and we stayed at the Franklin. It was a little tough navigating the app however the property is perfectly located and walking distance from some fantastic food and shopping. The bed was comfortable and clean. It was nice to have the water filter in the kitchen. The kitchen amenity was shared which wasnt that big of a deal. Nice spot.
Perfect location. There is no front desk staff onsite (might only be in the office season - not too sure) but they were very helpful via the phone. Rooms are clean. Bathroom looks like it could use some bleach and a deep scrub. Loved the outdoor patio for a quick afternoon reprieve. There is a mini fridge in the common area, but it would be nice if there was a mini fridge in each room. Walls are not too sound proof- a noise machine is provided which is a nice touch. I would stay here again out of pure convenience and simplicity of the hotel.
