The Lightkeeper's Inn

Our family (2 adults & 3 kids ages 5-10) stayed in the small house (Room 6) in the back. I would consider our saize about the max to comfortably stay here. It has a small private yard in the back where you can relax. The location is excellent we did not have a car (just our bikes) and were able to walk to and from downtown with ease. The manager (Ellen) was amazing at meeting our request to get in early and was very quick and understanding in all her communication. I would absolutely recommend this place to families and those looking for a comfortable, quiet spot to recharge. Great stay!

Absolutely loved the room. We had a separate bedroom and a full kitchen set up. One night we bought lobsters from a local fishery. It was so nice to have a lobster pot to cook them. The location is second to none in the center of Edgartown. Another big plus is parking for your car. We will return here.

We stayed in the cottage. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. The back patio door opens up to a nice deck with a grass courtyard. The location was fantastic being able to walk to Edgartown within 5 minutes for our morning coffee, shopping and dining.

We recently returned from a two week trip from Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, stayed in multiple hotels/cottages but this was by far the best! The location was unreal! A 30 second walk to the Main Street and water, you couldn’t find a better spot. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is so cute, and comfortable, there was 4 of us in our family, and we felt right at home. The rooms were equipped with absolutely anything that you would ever need. The lady running the Inn, was very polite, laid back, and knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. We came home and raved about this place to all of our family and customers, and we will be surely staying here the next trip back to the island. Thank you so much, it truly was a memorable stay for our entire family.

We had stayed here before and had a wonderful trip so I was happy to stay here again. However, this time we had way too many bugs. I'm not sure if there was a hole somewhere because they were definitely getting in somehow but there were so many bugs in our room. I checked the windows and door and didn't see anything obvious. The staff is friendly and it had good cleaning service but I don't know how no one noticed all the bugs all over. Also, the wifi was spotty if we were on the sofa. I'm not sure what happened between our two visits but I will not be staying here again.
