Despite a few issues, it is still the overall best place we have stayed at in NYC/Brooklyn. The staff are fabulous—friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious by NYC standards and clean. The bathroom it spacious, but no door on shower. Very basic kitchen supplies, more suitable for take out and warm ups, but served us well for making a meat and cheese tray on Thanksgiving. My daughter and her boyfriend came over for snacks and games in the afternoon before our dinner reservations. Don’t try to make more than 7 cups of coffee at a time—grounds forced up and over filter and makes mess. Couch is not comfortable for more than a short period of time. TV doesn’t have ability to pull up Netflix or YouTube without connecting a laptop with a HDMI cord. Bed was comfortable enough, but pillows were v

Extremely expensive and extremely bad experience This was one of the most expensive hotels I have stayed at and, unfortunately, the worst hotel experience of my life. From the first night (Dec 28), the bed frame was broken and made extremely loud cracking noises, waking up my wife and our 18-month-old baby. Despite reporting it multiple times over several days and even showing a video proving the bed frame was broken, nothing was done. We were forced to sleep with the mattress on the floor, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. The night of Dec 31 was awful. Guests above us were aggressively stomping and hitting the floor, waking our baby, and I had to go up to the front desk in the middle of the night to complain. After checkout, I emailed the manager twice

I almost didn’t want to share this gem, but Franklin Guesthouse deserves all the praise. I travel constantly and have never written a hotel review before—but this was next level. The staff was incredible—especially Valentina (I still miss her!) along with Melanie and Carlos. They made me feel like family and handled everything with kindness and efficiency. The room? HUGE, modern, and luxurious. My bathroom was basically a spa, with the best shower I’ve ever had. Full kitchen, comfy bed, private patio, and even a 24-hour sauna. Honestly, as a New Yorker, it outclassed most apartments I’ve lived in. The neighborhood is lively but safe, with restaurants, cafes, and the G train a block away. Always someone at the front desk, no matter the hour. I was genuinely sad to leave. I’m usually loy

Great hotel. I will say it's extremely expensive but is quite and hidden, I like that. Front desk agent in the morning , I believe her name was Melonie helped me with my luggage upstairs. All the staff was great. Room are terrific and spacious. I will be back soon.

it was awesome to have a full kitchen in the US!my suggestion to the hotel woul be thicker curtains to properly block the cold from the outside, heating electricity is expensive! and given how large the bathroom is, a bathtub would have been great.
