Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia Northeast

We were part of a room block for our son's wedding. This property was not up to Marriott Bonvoy standards. The front desk staff was poorly trained. When my sister-in-law tried to check in, they gave her the key to a room that was occupied. Lucky for her, it was my son's room, but that could have been a very dangerous error had it been an angry stranger. When she returned to the desk to tell them that room was occupied, they did not apologize, but rather told her that she did not have a room, despite the confirmation she had. She asked for my help and I watched the clerk try to give her both of my room numbers (we have the same last name) and her parents' room number (also same name) before I told her to please note the different first names, at which time she was finally able to find her r

We had this hotel booked because it's we were attending a wedding and there was a room block. I understand that this hotel is probably very busy due to its location but I've never arrived for a wedding block and not been able to check in. A lot of guests were getting ready in the bathrooms because none of our rooms were ready. It was not fun having to lug all of our stuff inside around midnight. Then we got to the room and the AC wasn't working- someone came to get it on but it didn't stay on throughout the night and I didn't sleep well because I was hot despite it being set on Cool- Constant Fan - 60 degrees. It wasn't the worst hotel stay I've had but it could've been better.

We recently hosted our event at this conference hall, and the experience was outstanding. The space is modern, clean, and very well-organized. The audio and video equipment worked flawlessly, and the staff were professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire event. The seating was comfortable, the temperature was well-controlled, and the hall had excellent acoustics. Our guests were very satisfied, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommended for conferences, seminars, and large meetings.

I usually stay here when I’m in Philadelphia, so I have been staying here a few times a year for several years. The hotel has aged over time, with peeling wallpaper and partially clogged sinks and tubs. But it’s clean otherwise and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, especially in the bar in the evening. However, the reason I am giving this two stars is because they recently added a fragrance to the lobby and hallways. It’s awful! Overpowering, and for someone like me who is sensitive to fragrance, my nose immediately stuffs up and starts to run/it makes me sneeze. It’s terrible, and the scent lingers in my nose even after I leave the building. I will need to stay elsewhere next time because the fragrance is so strong and terrible. Why they decided to do that is a mystery, but please

I stayed a few nights over the holidays. The room was fine and budget friendly. There was peeling paint everywhere in the room, but the room itself wasn't bad. The location was pretty good with lots of shopping around.
