Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites San Francisco Airport

The staff at Four Points by Sheraton were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and felt like the hotel worked to put their best foot forward with a delicious breakfast and a car service to and from the airport. It all got interesting when I got to the airport and realized I had left a book my daughter bought me for Christmas AND I was less than 100 pages from the end. You know what it is like when you are almost finished with a book, Right? Well, I called the hotel and the Assistant General Manager, Amaya DeSapio was kind enough to drive the book to the airport and met me at Terminal 3, Door 3 and handed me the book. I know that is CRAZY and the nicest thing anyone at a hotel has EVER done for me. I really am so thankful and touched by her willingness to help me.

The location is easy to find; GPS took us there without any problem. There is no free parking in the San Francisco area; parking is $20 per day. The parking area is secure and has two levels. We had no problems finding a parking space during our stay.||The room 429 we had was clean, and the rug underneath our bed was quite thin. Since the hotel is located near the airport, the windows have two double-paned glass windows to keep the sound to the lowest possible level. That is a plus. The phone, the TV, and the remote control are decent. Staffs are friendly and helpful. When I asked 9f there was any airport shuttle, they said no, but they can provide you a uber voucher for your check in/out day to/from hotel and airport. That's very nice!

The street outside and the adjacent parking lot are brightly lit with white lights that the hotel curtains fail to block effectively. To make matters worse, the smoke detector flashes a white light throughout the night. Restful sleep is unlikely. Unlike modern hotels that provide convenient bedside outlets for charging devices, this room requires you to either use outlets across the room or unplug a lamp. Just be prepared-you may not want to look too closely at the floor when you bend down to do so.

This place has reasonably priced airport parking if you stay overnight before a trip, but BEWARE, though they told us they would provide us transportation to and from the Airport, they ONLY provided us transportation TO the airport. When we returned from a long international trip, we called for transportation and they told us they would only provide it if we booked at the hotel that night. Never mind that we had already stayed a night and paid for 18 days of parking—they refused to honor their commitment. The taxi cost more than another night of parking. Did I mention the 1am fire alarm that caused the entire hotel to be evacuated for 40 minutes because someone was smoking weed in the laundry room? That made our 4am ride to the airport a LOT more rough than it already was!
