It was the worst experience I ever had we left Brunswick told to evacuate we call this motel 66.00 price on the sign on the outside 24.99 a night nasty dirty roaches every wear they charged us 4 time the amount for a room rate. The police was driving through all the time that was the only thing that made me feel safe plus all the families from Brunswick, Camden. Brantley and liberty we all got took because that price gouging is what low life's do.

Used this place as a evacuation destination for my family. Unknown to us the rates are usually $24.99 per night (I have pictures of the sign before they removed it), we were PRICE GOUGED at a rate of $119.99 per night. We spent $175.00 at Walmart on cleaning supplies, bedding, towels, etc. and 2 hours of cleaning to get the room habitable. While there my husband was propositioned for a prostitute and my mother for marijuana. The employees were either rude or so chemically enhanced nice that our stay was made even more uncomfortable. The locals walk on and off the property at all hours of the day and night, and the residents sit right on the sidewalk and do drugs. Dropped a u-haul here and was shocked this hotel had people staying there. The curtains weren't up in some rooms and you could clearly see the squalor people are staying in there. And the woman working there walks around handling business without shoes. I wouldn't stay there if I was paid to.

Any place that knowingly allows a sex offender to work, prostitution to happen, and illegal activity needs to be shut down. How dare yall use the hurricane victims as money??? Sick disturbed people. You're trash!! I can't wait til this eye sore is out of Douglas for good!!!! Miss how the old place use to be.

Raised rates by triple the normal price, for evacuees while the entire lower east coast was in a state of emergency due to Hurricane Matthew, which is illegal to do. The attorney generals office has been notified and I encourage others to do so about this terrible establishment!
