Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Douglas

We had a fantastic stay, we love bed it. The staff was super helpful, if we asked for anything, they went out of the way to ensure that we were comfortable. They ensured that our group stayed together and that everyone was well taken care of. Our room was super clean and smelled great. This was our third time staying here and we will be back again.

The room was very nice and clean. Really enjoyed the space in the room which was very comfortable. The shower was really nice and large. The breakfast was great and had more choices of food that I've had at a lot of other hotels. Would have given this a 5 rating but the sink was clogged and the water would not drain throughout the night; had to be careful how much you washed your hands and had to use the shower to wash hands to keep the sink from reaching the top.

Arrived late and went right to bed. In the morning found 2 huge roaches in the room (husband killed one) and another bug. Took a picture to the desk asked for manager, they would be in at 3 and call me. Nothing. Called at 5. They were off and would call me the next day. Still nothing after 3 more calls. Called Corp and they contacted hotel. Still haven’t heard anything back. So gross. Not what you expect from Marriott.

Just an overnight getaway for us to visit the museums in Douglas. The hotel was conveniently located next door to the World War museum. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and stocked with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Breakfast was included and offered many choices in healthy foods, hot food , along with the standard fare of cereal, bagels, muffins, and toast along with juice choices. The coffee was very good and there was also choices for hot chocolate and tea. It was an excellent choice for our short overnight trip.

The lobby was very nice it was really clean. Everything about it was just very nice. We were really happy to get complimentary gluten-free blueberry muffins in the morning. They also had delicious crustless spinach quiche.
