FOUND Hotel Chicago, River North

This place, totally ruined my birthday trip to Chicago end up having to pay extra fees for parking after a Night out on the town, hoping to take a shower in a nap. There was no way for me to access to this building at night. The code they gave me for my room was not working for the main door entrance to enter the building. I repeatedly tried to attempt a car customer service. There was no one answering the phone, checking into the hotel was a smoothing easy process. But was sad when getting your realizing there was no proper place for me to refrigerate in store my food and also heat it up. They had one community kitchen that was downstairs all the way on the main floor any beverages or snacks that I brought with me for my trip I couldn’t keep them cold. Hotel it self is very unique. The staff is helpful and friendly. Only thing we didn’t get our room cleaned up even though we had the sign up. It wasn’t very much of a big deal but disappointed me after a long day. They have a kitchen open for everyone they had coffees and teas which ı think it was very handy and thoughtful.

I booked this hotel last minute through a third party. After receiving the check-in instructions, something immediately felt off, so I contacted the booking service to see if I could cancel. Unfortunately, I landed in Chicago close to midnight and decided to go to the property since I was already there. When I arrived, the building itself was completely black, including the hotel’s name on the front, making it very difficult to even locate the entrance. The front door was locked and someone had to come open it for me. While I was checking in, my third-party booking service actually called the front desk because I had previously requested to cancel. The check-in process required me to take photos of myself and my ID, which felt unusual and uncomfortable. Instead of key cards, I was given

Pros: Check in and out was very easy. Room code was convenient (no need to remember a key) and the location is GREAT. We were in room 210 and it was very quiet (back side of building). The attached restaurant/bar is cool.|Cons: The room was EXTREMELY small and there was no ventilation. We figured out that the windows opened, and that helped until it started raining.

If you are coming for work or rest don’t come here! If you are not here for a quick, good time, find somewhere else to stay! This was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for and we will definitely stay again. A pretty place to crash for the night. I would not recommend for couples or families unless you can find a room here that offers a larger bed because most rooms have twin bunk beds and stay up late. My sister is 5’9 and she took the top bunk because even if her legs hang off, the top has more room to extend your legs. This is definitely a place for someone having fun for the weekend. The linen and pillows were pretty plush. It’s not super luxurious but i definitely felt like I slept on a cloud. The bar was LIT!!! Great music all night. It’s like a mini Vegas without the casino. N
