Fords on Fry

Just wrapped a multi-night stay at Fords on Fry, a clean, fully loaded, wildly comfortable spot in the heart of Chicago’s west side. Location? Prime. Bed? Massive and pillowy soft. Bathroom? Private and fully stocked with fresh linens. The coffee brewed itself, the TV had every streaming service known to man, and there was on-premise laundry (self-service only). The place was spotless and the two live-in cats offered just the right mix of affection and judgment (same could be said for the owners). It was, of course, technically a friend’s apartment but I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Book now if you can find an opening with the surprisingly well-organized, eccentric host couple. They fill up fast and don’t technically take reservations but it’s worth a try!
