Footbridge North Hotel

Positive: Very large room clean with a wonderful kitchen area nice hot water. The bed was very comfortable theirs a nice pool 3’-6’ deep and a outstanding pigeon cope in the back along with sitting and picnicking very nice place and location Negative: The Entry is tricky to find signs not very large or well light

Relatively cheap for the area. Clean enough, a little dated and could do with a wipe over of furniture. Lacking in any real charm. A bit of effort to connect it to its coastal surroundings could really elevate the property and add value.|The walls are fairly thin and you can hear couples making love in full surround sound and the showers in surrounding rooms are very loud. It’s a shame because the motel is sheltered from the noise of route 1. Also, the blinds do not keep out the light.

Bed too hard, room lit up at night from outside light, fridge and freezer were not clean, bathroom floor and baseboard were dirty. I liked the little coffee maker and the fact that they had a freezer, fridge and a toaster, as well as a little eating area (table with 2 chairs). There was also a comfortable easy chair. I liked the elongated toilet, and the grab bar near the shower. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Also liked the faucet style in the sink. For me, the pool was great because I like cold water but others may find it too cold. Really disliked ashtrays at the pool area and outside every room and having to walk through people’s cigarette smoke. I won’t be going back.

We just needed a room to spend the night getting from point A to B. It served its purpose. The exterior looked old and I feared for the interior but everything was just fine. Very clean. Not the spa experience in the bathroom but very clean and maintained. The pool area was also very nice. The lady who runs the place was very accommodating and helpful. The surrounding Hotels start in the $300's so this was a find.

Stopped before our next to last night in Maine. Crisp clean sheets, firm bed, clean bathroom. Airconditioner worked well and you could hardly hear it! Older establishment, but don't be fooled by the exterior. This is a good deal given the going rates in the area. Attractive pool area with a bird condo in back area of property. Our room had plenty of counter space. Manager did not mind our very late arrival and allowed us to check out at 11 am. Would stay again and I am picky.
