Flushing Hotel

Quite room on top floor with good view over city. Windows a little draughty but i tried to block with tissue and curtain and it did the job!!Turned on heating and it was a good temperature in the end. Got locked out of bathroom but reception sorted it straight away. Shower was good but we arrived late at night so hot water was better mid morning. Had a pleasant surprise to find snacks put out around breakfast time. Over a pleasant stay within easy reach of subway and surrounded by loads of shops and eateries.

After a very long delay at LaGuardia Airport which ultimately lead to a cancellation, I decided to take an Uber to a hotel in Queens NY to rest up for the night and treat myself to a hot shower in the morning so that I might be refreshed as I continued my journey home from Queens. It was late at night and my expectations were low, but all I required, as I said was a good night's sleep and hot shower the following morning. ||I checked in with no problem. Then, I took my bag to my room. That's when the nightmare began. The bedside lamp did not turn on. When I looked to see if it was plugged in, I found candy wrappers behind the nightstand. I then went to brush my teeth and discovered the latch was held in place by two bandages; I couldn't begin to guess why. As I simply wanted to sleep, I br

DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE. The front desk people are nice but the room itself is filthy. rooms have broken charging plugs, stinks of pee, poop, stains everywhere, and don’t even get me started on the shower. The curtain is dirty, no labels of what’s body wash and shampoo, and the towels are tinted brown with stains on them already. The whole bathroom is horrible. The only okay part is the bed, just a normal bed. Also, the toilet sucks too, it almost gets clogged with only toilet paper in it so not the best place to poop.

THERES DEFINITELY BEDBUGS HERE! When brought to the front desk’s attention, they argued with me saying that it was not. Had me take the janitor back up to the room to show him where he proceeded to yell at me in Chinese that it was not bedbugs when it clearly is. The first time I’ve ever not stayed on Time Square. Definitely will not be back again.

We were staying on floor C4, I think it's the basement, there are these motors running outside the window, you cannot sleep at all, the noise is so loud your ears start to ring. I only got couple hours of sleep. The walls are thin too; I woke up from TV noise. Also, they provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap, but when I was washing my hair, there was no conditioner inside the bottle. Apparently housekeeping doesn't check it or else I would've been able to conditioner my hair and it was too late to ask since I was in the shower, so I came out with tangled hair.
