Flushing Garden Hotel

Family owned business, not a corporate chain. Has a daycare to the left which probably keeps alot of weirdos away. Nice Chinese family. Rooms aren't huge, they were very clean the water pressure was high and super hot water. There's a shopping center less than a eighth of a mile away the old Whitestone bowling alley. And it's pretty close to LaGuardia. They do charge you $100 security deposit on top of whatever the room fee is. It's supposed to be refundable after 3 to 5 business days. So just be aware that when you check in you may need to prepare for the extra $100. It's not fancy but it was very clean and the staff seem nice. Perfect if your flight is canceled and you need a place that's better than sleeping at LaGuardia.

The room was small and dirty, and I would not recommend staying here. The bed frame had disgusting stains, and the carpets were clearly not cleaned or maintained. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The only reason we stayed was because we were unable to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, so we had to make do with what was available. No housekeeping service was provided, and even trash that was not ours was left behind. The curtains were filthy, and overall, the stay was not worth the money. Please avoid this place.

Positive: The location and cost. The room and bathroom were generally clean. Negative: Dirty bed headboards. I wish they would move away from fabric headboards or clean them regularly

The room is clean and quiet with adequate facilities. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

I got a last minute hotel stay for a very affordable price. It did the trick, was well maintained and the bed felt wonderful. Bathroom was in excellent condition.
