Flathead Lake Lodge is truly something special. Everything is exceptionally well done, starting with the meticulously cared-for grounds—you can tell there is pride in every detail. The staff is wonderful, every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there.||The food was very good, and the steak fry is a standout and a truly unique experience—one of those memories that sticks with you. Being able to ride horses up into the mountains and then go skiing on the lake in the same day is incredibly cool and something you don’t get many places.||The cabins are comfortable, charming, and well appointed, and the family who owns the lodge is present, approachable, and so kind—it adds a really special, personal touch to the entire experience.||Flathead Lake Lod

Four generations of my family have been visiting Flathead Lake Lodge since 1957–always hosted by the grandparents. I am now the grandparent bringing my children and grandchildren every year for a week of magic at the most beautiful spot on earth. The cabins, food, activities, horses and staff are wonderful. The Averill family are the consummate hosts, and make sure that every guest has an exceptional experience. My grandchildren especially love riding on vintage fire trucks for ice cream, the craft room, the kid’s rodeo and the “slip and slide” into the lake.

My first time here and willreturn often. It's always had a great reputation but my first dinner with friends and family. We had cocktails by the fireplace on a cold evening. Followed by an amazing dinner. The wine selection was good. We had a Spanish red that went perfect with everything. The Scallops were perfect. I should have passed on the dessert. Everyone had a great time and the service was spectacular! We live here and will be back often.

Great place if you’re looking to vacation with your family. I had a great time with the lodge and the pool area. There’s many fun areas near too.
