Flamingo Resort On Lake George

We have been going to the Flamingo for many years with family and friends. We are a large group (17 rooms) in all different age groups. The beach is one of the best in LG and the kids love the “bridge” to jump off. Every year there are more improvements to this beautiful property which has two heated pools and many other free amenities. Rooms are clean, some with kitchens and full fridges. Again, they seem to do improvements on several rooms every year. This year they had additional staff on the grounds that were very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to next year!

Very beautiful views of the lake, probably the best views around. Private well kept beach. My room was very clean and smelled lovely from the cedar walls. Love there is a kichenette so I can make my own food too. I've been visiting each year since the new owners took over and each year is even better! Beds are extremely comfortable. Wifi is fast. This was a must for me as I work remote. Beautiful clean resort with free kayaks, clean beach and boat rentals nearby. Quiet and peaceful, except for one day. (see below) ||||On another note: I read a recent review and I think that was the lady and her family who decided to use the resort as their unauthorized event venue! So this was the noisy day. My family and I have been coming here for the last 4 years after getting displaced from Capri Village next door. We love it hear. The beach area and dual sun decks are awesome, especially at night. The property , beach, and cabins are clean and comfortable. The owner is really nice, accommodating, and professional. The general manager, Sue, is a fantastic addition to the great staff. Looking forward to coming back for years to come.

This was my first time at Flamingo Resort. My Sister, Nephew, his wife, and son have been there a couple of times. They love this place, staff, and peacefulness of the lake. I totally agree with their opinions. I liked having a great view of the lake from our unit. Tom, Gary and the entire staff were very accommodating and friendly. They work hard at making your stay a rewarding experience. I will be here again next summer.

We have been staying here every year for the last five or six years. Unfortunately this will be our last year here. It used to b a decent place. The living space has always been run down but it used to have redeeming qualities that offset such things. They used to have a beautiful playground for the kids (they removed it). They will tell you there is one one the other side of the road as if kids crossing 60mph traffic is acceptable. There used to be charcoal grills and picnic tables in the grass by the lake (all gone). Our boys used to fish off of the docks there and that was their favorite vacation pastime (roped off on both sides now). They used to and are still supposed to give out kayaks but there was no one working there this time to give them out. Ants crawl all over the rooms a
