Fish Creek Beach House

We stayed at the Eastview condo unit of the Fish Creek Beach House in Door County, Wisconsin from 9/1 to 9/30/25.|If we had to summarize our experience in two words, it would be “generally disappointed.” This VRBO had excellent reviews – which is the main reason we reserved such a long period – but we cannot agree with many of the favorable comments.|To be fair, here are the good points:|- Location and front deck - beautiful views and close to many Fish Creek main street shops and restaurants|- Size of condo|- Comfortable beds|- Attractive wooden furniture|- Nice electric fireplace|- Parking|- No pets or smoking|These were overshadowed by a long list of concerns. Of course, we expect a few issues to be present at any rental; however, the number here are not indicative of an exceptional p

We have been happy and loyal customers of the Beach House for the last 10 years- it's been our home away from home! We have stayed their countless times and have had nothing but excellent experiences until this last trip under a new owner, Mackenzie. She skyrocketed the prices while the quality of the stay and customer service plummeted. Renter beware: If you're looking for a relaxing stay with peace and quiet, this is NOT the place for you. She changed the flooring in all the units, making it very loud- you can hear EVERYTHING. We were up until 4 AM listening to non-stop, heavy footsteps from people "vacationing". The owners are great and this place is spacious, clean, and has the best view of Fish Creek Beach and the bay of Lake Michigan. Directly across from the beach in Fish Creek (only separated by the road). We stayed in the Grandview apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, open-concept living room with fireplace/dining room/full kitchen. From the convenient parking in the back, there are a few steps down, then a few covered exterior steps up to the door, then a few more steps inside, but all were very easy to use. The Grandview deck seats 4 and has a sliding door into the living room. Very clean and updated property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and plan to go back in the future.

We just returned from a week staying at the Fish Creek Beach House and we loved it! It was a beautiful and convenient location where you could walk to everything in Fish Creek. The apartment was quiet, very comfortable, extremely well-stocked, beautifully decorated, and with everything in working order. The owners clearly had thought about what people need for a comfortable stay and provided it at every turn.||||We have rented over a dozen short term apartments over the years and the Beach House would be at the top of the heap in every regard! We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to our friends.

The owners are very nice and helpful. The Grandview was perfect. Great view of the bay and beach and a great location. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable, we felt very much at home and loved coming back to the condo after a busy day touring Door County. There are a lot of shops and eating places within an easy walk from the condo. We would diffidently stay here again when visiting Door County.
