Julie's Park Cafe & Motel

There's a handful of pet-friendly lodging options in the area, all with seemingly great ratings, which makes it difficult to choose. Julie's came highly recommended, though, and I'm so happy I listened! I am so in love with this place; they know how to make human and canine guests feel welcome! The location is great (very close to Peninsula State Park) and a central location for the various Door County communities, the rooms are clean, cozy, and affordable, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and their pet rules are so reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to bring their canine companion with them to Door County! Edit: I knocked off one star due to the noise. This was our second stay at Julie’s. We chose it originally because of their dog friendly policy. We like the fact that the hotel is located right next to the entrance to Peninsula State Park and close to everything Fish Creek has to offer. We find the decor in the rooms very pleasing and the beds super comfortable. Also, the rooms are nice and roomy, and the bathrooms are good sized. The staff is courteous and we feel like they go out of their way to make everything as streamlined and convenient as possible. Julie’s has quickly become our go to hotel when going to Door County.

Positive: Large room. Nice beds. Negative: Noise of balcony when anyone was walking it.Extremely low water pressure. Did not receive pet welcome basket.

A great experience. The room was comfortable and updated. Can't beat the location for proximity to Peninsula State Park. It's a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Fish Creek. The cafe is convenient for breakfast and lunch, with delicious food and great service. And, it's pet friendly, so no issues with bringing our Labrador.

Getting to the hotel was an easy drive from the Milwaukee area. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was so comfy. The bathroom was cute and roomy. We stayed on a cold December weekend so the atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff was so attentive and friendly, and was happy to offer suggestion on where to eat.
