Harbor Guest House

Rooms refurbished regularly, but not all at once. Bring a sharp knife for cooking and be patient with previous guests lazy enough to put pots and pans in the dishwasher. If you need something, Liz can usually find it for you.

The Tudor styled Harbor Guest House is in a wonderful location with seven waterfront apartments directly overlooking the harbour in historic Fish Creek. My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay during the last leg of our counter-clockwise U.S road trip around Lake Michigan from Chicago. Our first floor apartment via stairs had a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, comfortable lounge area and balcony. The apartment was within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the town. Parking is available on the frontage. Recommended.

This was such a cute and cozy stay for a weekend away! We loved having a little secluded patio for stargazing and a view of the harbor, and close walking distance to cafes and shops nearby. I will note that you can hear whoever happens to stay upstairs if you’re on the bottom unit. But not a big deal to us, otherwise it’s great place, will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Door County!

Staying at the Harbor Guest House was perfect in every way. It was in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Fish Creek, yet far enough away from the crowds and noise. We stayed at the boat house which had a full kitchen (although we didn't cook with all the great restaurants around), a large sitting room, two bedrooms, two baths, and a large deck that looked out onto the marina and water. Liz and Trent were wonderful hosts, providing us with information on places to go, things to do and places to eat. It definitely deserves 5+ stars.

We celebrated our anniversary in Fish Creek and stayed at the Harbor guest house. As other reviews state, the location is ideal and it is very quiet with great views. The place is very clean and Liz and Trent were very helpful. I really enjoyed the high quality coffee and also the woodburning fireplace. Great views from our balcony and conveniently located to everything in town.
