Fireside Hotel

If you need to stop somewhere that's not too far from a major road and only for a few hours to rest before hitting the road again, then it's fine. Otherwise you will likely not want to stay here for any other reason or longer amount of time. It's one of the better Motels on Austin highway, but seeing how awful the motels on that road are it's really just the lesser of all evils (or dumpster in this case).

Horrible experience. I found bed bugs in my room. I didn’t even stay there. I asked for a refund and they refused. Bed bugs travel with you. You can take them to your home. And once it’s infested you have to pretty much get rid of everything. It’s a nightmare to get rid of them. The room was dark and dated. Carpets very dirty and pillows flat. I left there crying. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay there. If I could I would have left no stars.

It was surprisingly nice inside the building itself looks a bit in rough shape but when u go inside the room its like a whole other place lol didn't smell and was clean turned the AC on and in no time it was ice cold so it was a win win cuz it was cheap!

The manager has no customer service skills, they yell and are extremly disrespectful, they unorganized, they charge people different rates for the same room. I've been staying in this room for a couple of weeks and have asked them to fix my closet, and nothing has been done about it. There are cockroaches, this place definantly needs new management, someone who knows what they're doing.

Unfortunately I must edit my review. Location is great. The rest is below average.
