Fin & Feather Resort

On Friday at approximately 2:00 PM, I checked in at the motel office and was given a room key. Immediately afterward, I launched my boat and went fishing. Unfortunately, I was involved in a boating accident and had to leave the lake that day. I returned to the motel office around 4:50 PM, promptly returned the room key, and explained that I had never entered the room nor set foot on any of the motel’s facilities.||Despite my request not to be charged under these circumstances, my American Express card was billed the full $117.00. To date Toledo Resort (aka Fin & Feather Resort) have refused to refund the charge.

All around a good experience. Easy check in/out. Clean rooms, quiet at night, friendly atmosphere.

Visited in the middle of August for a 3 day weekend getaway. Extremely quiet because there were only a few guests here at the time we stayed. I imagine this place is hopping closer to hunting season etc. Exceptional property with views of the forest and access to water on the reservoir. Rustic cabins are in need of upgrades and updates, but are clean, had all the things you need for basic cooking, etc. Front and back porches for sitting out with your morning coffee.

Great views. Room smelled like mold, no bs it was concerning. Windows have blinds that allow for minimal privacy and lets all the light through. Mattress was hard as a rock, bedding was dingy and yellow. Gap under front door was huge. Cockroaches were visiting under my door. Stairs up to 2nd floor had loose railing and poor craftsmanship. I would have left a better review if front desk staff was the least bit nice. But they just cared about the owners store up and the main road and gossip. Wall between rooms is thin, you will hear the family reunion bbq next door all night.

I grew up at this marina . It's been thru many changes in my lifetime. I would recommend it
