Farr Park RV Campground

Campground is at the equestrian center. Water and electric hookups, no sewer, but has a dump station. Has bathhouse with toilets and showers…but they open at 8am and close…they said 7pm but it was 5:36pm today and sometime before 6pm yesterday…so 🤷🏼‍♂️ shower before 5 I guess. Showers aren’t clean and I only used it because our 5th wheel grey will fill fast with showers. The spaces are grass, and maybe a little tight. The ground is soft and you may sink if there is rain. The campground roads are nice enough and most sites are pull through. Getting here is a little sketchy and RVLife had us doing some crazy routes, but it’s an old city with lots of crappy roads and low trees, so take it slow on the way here.

Beautiful equestrian park to camp and have your horse nearby. Nice riding areas. One mile from LSU. Making it convenient. The campground is very well kept. It was super quiet but there were only 6 campers. Electric and water only no sewer but there is a dump station. The power was off a few days no fault of the parks but the office was open to answer questions. The internet was down due to no power so I can't say if there was good speed or not. There was a shower and bathroom building but I didn't use them. There are no other amenities at the campground. If you are looking for frills skip this park, but if you want to ride horses it's a perfect campground for that. We would come back again.

This is basically a open field with electric/water hookups; nothing fancy. I enjoyed the convenient location to LSU, downtown Baton Rouge and the levee. I could see this place turning into a mudfest with a significant rain, but the roads were easy to navigate, and the spots well marked. The bathrooms were tired and kind of dirty. The place is easy to find and the staff is super friendly with great local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again for a night or two

It's a field with electric and water only hookup. Does have a dump station. 40.00 a night seems a bit pricey but we are only here 2 nights. Right now, it's quite flooded and took us a long time to find a site we wouldn't sink into. All are water covered. Grass is sooooo long and really needs to be cut. Convenient to LSU and Baton Rouge.

Very helpful campground greeter. 40.00 for electric and water. Sewer not available but there is a dump station. No campfire rings and no wood. You must bring your own if you want a campfire. Shower facility and toilets old and only one for the whole campground. Gravel roads and very dusty. We had very good tv reception. If your on one side of the campground it is fun to watch the horses and riders. They don't take reservations after July 31st for the fall season which is too bad and why?? Very close to LSU 2.5-3.0 miles and there is s shuttle available for 20.00 per person to take you to football game and back to campground. Not very even parking. It's grass and they pack you in pretty close. If your going to football games it's probably the best place you can be.
