Fairfield Inn Boston Woburn/Burlington

This hotel had some pros and cons but overall it was a great option at a good price for a trip to Salem. ||Pros|Location was only a half hour to Salem and the town of Woburn itself has great restaurant and take out options. |Breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a Fairfield with multiple hot options. The breakfast room is very small for a 5 story hotel but we never had a problem getting a table for the 3 mornings we ate there. |Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were offered waters and chips at check in due to Bonvoy.|The room and hotel overall was kept very clean. For an older hotel I was surprised how well cared for it was. This is my second time in this hotel with my wife, very nice to be back there. The receptionists are very attentive. I thank everyone there for their attention. Great location. Easy check-in effort with friendly staff. Room was clean and well-maintained.The experience at this establishment surpassed all our expectations! Just a one night stay for my me a couple of weeks ago, It was a long walk from the nearest transit bus. About 35 minutes. I had a meeting only a ten minute walk away the next morning so I picked this place. I had asked to change rooms since my room faced the busy traffic artery to the south and I am a light sleeper. That was done quickly. I slept well there, Nice breakfast, Good bed, very good shower. A lot of places eat nearby in easy walkiing distance.

Not good. The staff was lovely, but the hot water ran out two minutes into my shower. The view of my window is of the highway and a dumpster. The breakfast food quality was terrible. Do not recommend.

Not sure the logic in having an outdoor pool in MA, but that wasn't a big deal. Rooms were a little on the small side over all, but nice. No major complaints.
