Best Western Plus New Englander

We chose this hotel because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately our stay was not very pleasant. When we first arrived, we noticed that one of the towels had visible stains, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. Later that night, guests were loudly talking in the hallway around midnight and woke us up. The walls between rooms also seem very thin — we could clearly hear the TV and conversations from the room next door. On Sunday morning, there was a card vendor event being held in the hotel hallway. Many vendors and buyers were conducting business right next to the breakfast area, which made the space feel crowded and chaotic rather than relaxing. RIP - OFF* This is NOT a BW Plus! Three day stay. Charged two days $154-163 - third day was $251.. this is not a $251 hotel. Check in was OK - but the staff was not very knowledgeable about the area, nor did they speak good English. Pleased that the room was serviced daily. But to start with, the really small bathroom needed a thorough scrubbing, the sheets were wrinkled, not smooth and crisp. Room was quiet. Pool was closed and appeared to have been for a long time. Breakfast was slim pickings. |There is a Bar - Restaurant adjacent to hotel. Would never return!

We’d rate this hotel a full 5 stars for everything—location, cleanliness, amenities, price, and staff. It’s very convenient for getting to the airport and to the Burlington area, which we always visit. The price also includes breakfast and parking, which is a great bonus. I think this is the best deal I’ve found in Massachusetts.

Pro-location, breakfast Con-lied about the pool being in working order, dirty rooms, dirty microwave Called prior to booking to ensure the pool was usable. Upon arrival the pool was green tinged, algae growing, a film on the top of the water, only one jet semi functional. Front desk said it was working just fine, there was no issue with it and no way to resolve my concern. I had only booked this stay for the pool for school vacation. I can understand chipped paint/needed repairs but actual algae/green water/film on top is not usable. The day after we checked in the pool was closed for use and remained closed the third day. Hotel was standard no thrills. Shower was clean but didn’t drain well. Reported twice, no one addressed. The hotel claims to be non smoking but as you came off the elevator on 3rd floor the smell was apparent. Pool out of order. Place was clean.
