Courtyard by Marriott Boston Woburn/Boston North

Just made an impromptu trip to Boston. Stayed at the Courtyard. I’m a Bonvoy Member and usually stay at a Westin or Marriott Flagship so it was first time at a Courtyard. The location was perfect, 15 min from family in South Boston and perfect location to travel north to Salem or Rockport. The ease of freeway access was good and since this hotel is within a business area, it was very quiet at night. The room was a bit dated but clean with comfortable beds. The front desk was helpful and considerate to change our room at check in to a non-freeway side as I forgot to ask prior to his creating the room keys. I saw other reviews following our stay and was surprised but some of the reviews. The lobby was very clean and smelled nice. I also felt that the price was reasonable for being located in

I stay in hotels roughly 250 nights a year, and this Courtyard has become one of my favorite places to book. The rooms are always spotless and the beds are comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There are few places I stay that leave me feeling rested when I leave, and this is one of them.

My wife and I have stayed here several times over the last few years and found the hotel clean, affordable and centrally located just outside of Boston.||We like the layout of courtyard hotels and consider them amongst our favorite chains. ||This particular hotel is located inside n industrial park about 15 minutes outside of the city. The employees are kind and there’s plenty of parking. It is also generally quiet when we’ve been here.||Recently the hotel has implemented a $10 nightly parking charge. The explanation for this new fee is “to pay for landscaping costs”. I should point out that there is minimal landscaping to be maintained, and most guests don’t spend any time on the hotel grounds, instead choosing to use the property as a home base while visiting the city. The hotel staff were friendly and very competent at their jobs. The staff worked well as a team. The hotel was immaculate and the ammenities were great. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We loved the bed and bedding. The shower was awesome! Our breakfast was hot and delicious. We regretted not staying at the hotel for dinner the previous evening. This hotel was a perfect weekend getaway destination and fortunately we live close enough to make this happen!

The hotel is dated but clean. The location is convenient, as it’s close to downtown. However, it is definitely overpriced for what’s offered. Be aware that there is an additional $10 parking fee, which we were not informed of prior to or during the reservation process. They do offer breakfast for purchase in the morning and have a small bistro at night where you can order food and drinks. Overall, this is a 2–3 star hotel at best. One of the nicer features is the small pool, which was well maintained and included floaties, tables, and chairs.
