Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront

7FEB.2026 Great experience and stay. Was here for the weekend. The breakfast and the room was great. Parking was a bit tight. One way in and out. Nice views of the ocean.

The hotel location is perfect and it’s pretty clean throughout the resort. We’ve been staying here for years. We are frequent flyers to this property and even brought family here. With that said, it’s time for some major upgrades. The air conditioning only goes down to 66 in the rooms but there is absolutely no way it was 66 degrees. It felt, at best, low to mid 70s. We booked the suite (708) and the balcony door in the bedroom was so dirty on the inside between the two panes of class that you couldn’t see out. The hallways were extremely hot and several of the ice machines were broken. The staff did their job but I just didn’t feel welcomed. I felt more like an inconvenience. The “marketplace” barely had anything in it. Unfortunately, this may be the last year we stay and we’re disappoint

Our recent one night stay was excellent. We have already talked about coming back for an extended stay. The view of the ocean from our balcony was amazing. We watched dolphins frolicking in the ocean as we drank our morning coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was cordial and very helpful. Olga at the front desk was fantastic. Thank you for making our stay so bright.

I reserved a king room with sofa and when I got registered, I was given a handicapped room with no sofa. The front desk clerk was a bit rude when I complained. I asked for the manager and she said that she was on the floor. I went back to the room and a manager named Isla or Ida or something like that called and said that this is all we have. I did request a room on a lower floor when I called a few days ago and I was told that floor 5-9 was unavailable but they will put me in for 3rd or 4th floor. The manager said that this is the only floor that they I but I did observe other customers being given rooms on other floors. She was very rude and unprofessional herself. I didn’t get what I paid for and was treated badly. I have no choice but to stay because I am booked until 1/2/26 I I have

This was a business trip to VA Beach. There was a couple of things to this visit that should be talked about: 1. The parking is very mind blowing . Parking is very tight. 2.The staff at front desk were a par when we checked in. Very nice and friendly. As for the staff in the morning when we left she may be having a off day but she had a little chip on her shoulder. Plus she was the front end supervisor. 3. The room 502 was very clean to the point you would smell the bleach that was used to clean with when you walk in. My husband pointed out to me next to the bed on windowside of bed that there was dried blood on the floor under the bed ,plus next to the bed same side at the nightstand there was a puck strain. 4. Bathroom very clean. No big problems here. But there was not alot of kleen
