Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Savannah Midtown

I booked this place for a friend’s wedding, from their hotel block. Check in was easy since I had the app. I didn’t even need a key. I could just use my phone. Even when out very late, I would come in and use my phone at the door and it would let me in. There was also a very fun desk person who greeted me every late night of my stay. The day after the wedding, I left in quite the hungover state as you could imagine and I ended up leaving some clothes in a closet. Fortunately I remembered as soon as I landed back home. I called, thinking there couldn’t be any way they saved them for me. Much to my luck, they did. They kept them in a sealed bag for my friend to pick up and mail to me. I am forever grateful they were so kind. I would definitely stay here again. Great people in a great locatio

Saw it had a lower Yelp Review but my family said they had been several times and they always go back. Front desk (Bonnie) pleasant and helpful! Clean and nice atmosphere! I will definitely go back! All personnel were friendly and personal ! Breakfast was extensive and fresh! Parking and ease moving throughout the hotel was simple.

After some bad experiences in the past, I normally don't expect very much of my hotel stays, but I was genuinely impressed with the service I received at this hotel. Akeema checked us in and was helpful, welcoming, warm, and efficient. My room was clean and fairly well sound-insulated, though I was at the end of a row so I only had a neighbor on one side. Bedding was clean and comfortable, room was a good size, well designed, and for once had a TV that I didn't find infuriating to use (though it does log out of Netflix every time you turn it off, but that's probably by design). Let me start by saying that I don't typically stay at Fairfield Inns. I am a lifetime platinum member of Marriott and prefer full Service Hotels or AC's when available. I booked this hotel for a short Labor Day weekend to Savannah.||The hotels closer to the River were much more expensive, so I booked this hotel for one night, although I planned on being in Savannah for 2 nights.. but I wanted to see how I'd like the hotel first.||It's not bad for a Fairfield. I would say pretty average. From the outside the hotel appears to be really new, on the inside, it doesn't exactly feel that way. It's certainly not old, but not "new".
