Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Savannah I-95 South

Overall decent experience at the Fairfield off of 95. Checked in quickly with no questions. Room was clean. Ac functional. 3 stars for service because of having to subscribe to rewards program to get WiFi access. Making review before continental breakfast so I’m hoping it’s okay before we start drive.

Positive: It was close to I-95 Negative: 1. There was no water at sink or shower when I woke up2. Heater made a horrendous noise when it shut-off 3. Fitness room was full of cleaning supplies and non-functioning4. No cable signal to the TVThis was the worst hotel experience ever!

Breakfast experience was awful. The coffee urn was empty shortly after 7am just as the breakfast was starting. Surly attendant couldn't be bothered, took an extremely long time (how long I do not know because I left after 10 minutes to get coffee elsewhere). I will not stay here again.

I cannot in good conscience recommend staying at this hotel. Although it is under construction, the room we stayed in, appeared to be finished to their satisfaction but , was incomplete. The bathroom still had mold in the shower and the television wasn’t hooked up. Since we were only using this hotel because it is conveniently located off of I-95, we simply showered and went to bed. This Marriott is one that offers a complete breakfast. You usually get scrambled eggs or waffles, yogurt, and muffins. There was no food at all. Thank goodness for the guest service manager, Michele Simmons. In the pouring rain, she took it upon herself to go to the supermarket and buy oranges, cereal and milk for the guess. I told her kindly that we were disappointed and only stopped there because we could hav

The drapes were falling off the windows. The heater was very loud. The room was not clean.The windows were dirty , things , bathroom lay out was poorly. The people at the front desk did not care. Should not be a Marriott property.
