Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Savannah Downtown/Historic District

Had an excellent stay! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower presssure was great. Best part was the front desk staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help with anything we needed. Big shoutout to Dottie! She’s the best!

Positive: Close to everything few blocks away from the square and river street. You can park across the street in the parking deck ($12.00)for WAY less then valet of $48.00 a night. We come to Savannah a lot and this is the case for majority of the hotel's! Negative: ""

First time visiting Savannah and this hotel was just perfect. Great location, with easy valet parking. Worth it, in my opinion. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was standard fare but appreciated. Overall, this location was a hit with us, and we would definitely stay here again. Oh yeah, the shower water pressure is PHENOMENAL!!!

The rooms were clean, and you can definitely tell they’ve done renovations. Everything felt updated and more modern, which we appreciated. The hot breakfast was good overall. My only suggestion would be to add a non-pork meat option. My husband doesn’t eat pork, and the only breakfast meats available were pork bacon and pork sausage, so he stuck with grits, eggs, and waffles. It would be nice if they offered turkey bacon or turkey sausage as an alternative. They offer valet parking, or you can park in a nearby garage down the street if you don’t mind a short walk. We chose valet for the convenience, and it was worth it. Overall, we had a really good stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Well the location is great. And breakfast. And valet employees who are not employees of Fairfield Marriott. We were given a room right beside the elevator that sounded like bongo drums every time the elevator was used. After 10 pm I called and “upgraded” to a room across the hall. Which didn’t matter cause we left the next morning. And I didn’t call from my room because their phone did not work. I was truly disappointed in this stay. Valet parking is quite expensive but at least those employees smiled and chatted with you.
