Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites San Antonio North/Stone Oak

The fridge in the room turns itself off after a few hours. So much for keeping milk in the fridge. The lights in the room are not bright. And I was hoping to be able open the window for some fresh air, but that was not possible in my room. There are no blankets if you get cold. The selection of pillows (firm to soft) is very good. The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast eggs didn't taste good to me, but the waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, and cereals were fine. Coffee and hot chocolate are available 24/7. The rooms are clean, and there are no funky odors. The shower pressure was good, and I didn't have to crouch to get under the shower head.

The room was average. The location was ideal but four pickup trucks were broken into overnight including ours. I would not stay here again unless security is beefed up or surveillance cameras are installed. We had broken glass all over everything and had to duct tape a covering over the broken window to continue traveling.

The check in was seamless and Casandra was awesome. She got all three of our parties in with no problems. She also called afterwards to ensure we were all good and the rooms were ok. She is a bundle of joy, happy, positive, outgoing. The hotel is luckily to have her on their team

We arrived to our hotel and checked in. During the check in process, we learned that some of the things such as breakfast we had looked for in a hotel were not available do to Covid. They said there would be a granola bat and coffee. Would've stayed somewhere else had they posted that those things were unavailable before. We check in and go to our room and there was an old French fry in middle of the floor and the bathroom floor was sticky. We went down stairs and asked if there was another room available and the young man said his system was messing up but no there wasn't one available and we could come and talk to the manager in the morning when they got there. The next morning at 8 A.M. I went down stairs and spoke to them and they placed me in another room. I didn't understand h

I know the building and rooms could use a makeover HOWEVER ! The staff that were there during my stay was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. For the price and its location its pretty great ! Only wish the hot tub and pool were working 😭 Its also located close to a Japanese all you can eat hot pot and BBQ. Absolutely will book again for the next trip on budget !
