Wow! The staff here are amazing. We were welcomed like we arrived home. Clean. Our shower looked like it had never been used. Location is excellent!!!!! Walking distance to the cutest downtown, convention center and market place. This is my future Philly hotel! Thank you to all the staff who were so kind and welcoming.

As a lifetime gold elite member for 4 years now, and previous ambassador, I’d rank this hotel in the 50th percentile. Conveniently located in center city Philly, you’re near a lot of solid bars & restaurants. Staff was kind enough to give me a corner room on the 8th floor (hence 5 stars for service) which was quite spacious for Philly. This Fairfield I’m sure has been retrofitted to the new “hip” vibe it gives off today. Windows open a few inches, which is rare these days. Big bathroom with ceiling to floor glass doors. Everything was good besides the giant dried out loogie on the wall. Staff very nice though. Breakfast is what you would expect. Would I pay $170 to stay here again? No.

Spent a long weekend visiting with family at this lovely hotel. Facility and rooms were nicely decorated and super clean. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and John took good care of everything and gave us the interesting backstory of this history building. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to sights, restaurants and shops. Looking forward to going back.

This is my second time in this hotel with my wife, very nice to be back there. The receptionists are very attentive. I thank everyone there for their attention. Great location.
