Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Montrose

1 chair in room for two people, cheap! Black hair on nightstand, yuk! Constant fan noise in bathroom with a slight ringing sound. Irritation!! Stupid coffeemaker - no Keurig. But the worst was the frig, only stayed on for 2 hrs at a time, and no ability to stand up a bottle in it, there was this stupid plastic thing, without it a bottle would fit fine, seemed intentional, bleh! Toilet paper holders so far back on a short wall, had to do a pretzel move! No towel rack for hand towel at the sink. This is a 1 yr old hotel. What’s wrong with you Marriott?

This hotel had an extremely efficient front desk and the room was bay far the best accessible room I’ve ever encountered! Looks just like a normal room with some accessibility features in the bathroom. No huge empty spaces like a lot of accessible rooms and has all of the features that I could hope for. Would feel completely comfortable staying here independently as a wheelchair user. More hotels should follow y’all’s lead! Thank you!

There was a dirty sock, old dog food, and white dog hair all over the floor in our room. What business do they have charging a $100 pet fee if they can't even vacuum up the pet hair and kibble left behind by previous guests? We were exhausted from a cross country move and by the time we noticed we just decided to let the manager know as a courtesy and went to bed. The next morning I asked for a partial refund because $260 a night for a room that had not been cleared or vacuumed seemed crazy. Even a 10% refund would have been appreciated, but earlier today I got an email receipt showing they charged my card for the full $260. Like other reviewers noted, the mattress slides around a lot and floors transmit a lot of noise and vibrations from other people walking around. Eggs were rubbery,

As a Lifetime Titanium elite member with Bonvoy, I would NOT suggest this property given ridiculous 48 hour need to cancel when we needed to get out of town before severe weather. No flexibility is unacceptable and greedy as I was charged for a overnight stay when departing the property at 7:50 am. This is NOT the Marriott service I have been accustomed to for over 25 years and will utilize another brand when traveling back.
