Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Minneapolis North

This is probably the nicest, cleanest, freshest and most pleasant hotel I have stayed at in the past year. Other hotels should have their staff visit/train here. The rooms are immaculate. The food and service were the best. There was a lot of parking available. This is a very nice looking hotel for the price point. I can't wait to visit this location again. The only issue I had is that the staff was not paying attention to the door so it took a while to get into the lobby and then I had to wait for a receptionist to come from the back room.

Property is average. Front desk was professional. We had issue during the stay and called multiple times to speak with management. Never received call back. There was snow and ice. The parking lot was not clear. The lack on concern from property management was disappointing .

Positive: Convenient location Negative: Out dated television in room, WiFi never worked.?and I needed to do work. Had to use my hotspot! And room smelled like smoke when we walked in. Went and got the front desk clerk to alert him, and he just said he didn?t smell it.

Very nice, clean hotel and rooms. We had a very pleasant stay. Larry at the front desk is a pleasure to talk to. He welcomed us with a goody bag for being an Elite member at Marriott. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Wished the hot water came more hotter but it was manageable. It is in a good location close to many restaurants and freeway. They have a nice fitness room but didn't get a chance to use it. The only thing we felt was missing was a hot tub!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I had booked thos hotel in advance of the farm aid festival due to its location and free breakfast and price. We Drove in 6 hours from Chicago and upon arrival we were told we were too early ro check in. We'll the concert started at noon so the only other option would be to check in after the show which ended up being around 1am. We came back to the hotel to check in and to our horror found that they had overbooked the hotel and gave our room away. Which left us with nowhere to stat in the middle of the night in a strange city. The night clerk said he would try and help find us a new hotel. We spent an hour calling every hotel in the area which we're all sold out due to the festival. We eventually found one in the area which was much more expensive and didn't have breakfa
