Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Idaho Falls

I didn’t actually stay at this hotel, but I had an interaction with a staff member named David and was genuinely impressed! He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. It’s rare to come across such warm and professional customer service. Based on that experience alone, I would absolutely consider staying here in the future. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Easy access off and on I15. Front desk very pleasant and upgraded our room, even though it was for only one night. Bathroom was nice size as was the sitting area with couch and bedroom, with 2 TV’s. . Room was very clean. We didn’t stay for the breakfast as it wasn’t being served by the time we left, probably missed it by 15 minutes. Gas station across the street, and an Olive Garden restaurant a very short walk away. Price was very reasonable. Definitely highly recommend.

Positive: Airport shuttle. Restaurants and WalMart in walking distance. Negative: The hot tub was so hot it was uncomfortable and I like hot showers.It?s been 3 days and I still haven?t gotten my money back that was used as a hold.

How does this hotel have such high ratings? I'm baffled. The walls are LITERALLY paper thin. I'm currently listening to a toddler scream above me and someone repeatedly flushing the toilet in the room next door. It's past midnight. I imagine this is what prison sounds like. The beds are saggy and uncomfortable. The carpet desperately needs updating.

Do not trust their front desk to send the shuttle for pick up. We waited 20 minutes at airport for their shuttle only to find out he "got busy and forgot" to contact the shuttle service. I even left my cell in case there were any issues. We ended up paying for an Uber and missed our dinner reservation. We then made the mistake of scheduling a return trip to airport at 5 am. When I called to confirm at 4:45 am, we were told AGAIN, they forgot to tell us the spot was filled so they moved us to 5:20 am with ZERO communication back. Luckily we were able to secure an Uber again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Be aware that someone there doesn’t have the ability to multi-task and has memory issues. Room was clean but dated. Great location near several restaurants and Starbucks.
